DIY: Coffee Body Scrub

Hi guys, Happy New Year!  This is my first post of 2017!  I recently went to Amsterdam for New Years Eve and planned to vlog the whole weekend but unfortunately i came down with a huge cold and reaaaally didn’t feel like having a camera in my horrible snotty face (eew) haha!  But soon i’ll write up a post about my weekend in beautiful Amsterdam!

I recently used a product from Lush called Cup O’coffee and really liked it and fancied to create my own version!  So i came up with this completely natural recipe and it only has 3 ingredients!  I love knowing what’s in my beauty products, so making my own body scrub is amazing as i know exactly whats in it and it feels special!  Scroll down for my youtube video, like and subscribe if you can please, it would mean the world to me! x

Ingredients

Ground Coffee 1/2 cup

Raw sugar  1/2 cup (i used Demerara sugar as it’s what i had in my cupboard!)

Ground Cinnamon  1 tsp

Coconut oil (heated and cooled to room temperature if solid)  1/4 cup

Method

Double up the recipe to make more of this lovely beauty product!

  1. Mix the coffee, sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  2. Add the coconut oil and mix well, use hands to really mix it in well! (add more oil if needed)
  3. Store in an air tight jar ready to use!

My missus used coffee scrub once. Smelled great, but I spent the entire day making myself cup after cup of coffee. ☕😊
