As I’m writing this, I’m currently on the train back home (day 4) …*cry*. Here’s my post telling you all about day 3 in London!
We got up pretty early as we had a long day ahead of us! I showered and made myself look half decent then went out, on the tube to Westminster station. As we got a cheaper attraction ticket online, we had to book an allotted time slot for each attraction. We booked the London Dungeon first at 10am, then the Shrek Adventures at 11:45am, then the London eye at 6:30pm. We could visit Madame Tussauds any time we liked! We got a quick bite to eat and a nice hot chocolate to start off a cold morning, then headed to the Dungeon!
It was so interesting and got me jumping a few times (i sooo wasn’t scared)!!! After the tour we got a free drink in the London Dungeon Tavern! We then headed next door to the Shrek Adventures attraction.. although it was more for kids.. me and Luke still enjoyed it and got to let our inner child out!!
When we got out, we took a few ‘up the nose’ selfies in front of Big Ben!!
After that, we decided to head straight to Madame Tussauds and got a little snack to keep us going. This was by far my favourite attraction as I got to see Victoria Beckham, Cheryl, Zoella and Alfie Deyes and so many more!! Me and Luke always end up in a Madame Tussauds wherever we go.. but this one was definitely my favourite!
We were so tired after visiting the three attractions. We went to Oxford Street to get a few bits but ended up being there for more than a couple of hours!!! I got a lovely jacket from Zara and was so excited to wear it that evening!
We were in a slight rush to get to the London Eye on time but we made it with a couple of minutes to spare! We have been on the London Eye a few times between us but never at night, so it was nice to experience the night ride together for the first time! The views were breathtaking, we were lucky to have a dry and clear night so we could see almost everything!
A selfies later, we got off and decided to return to the hotel to relax before going out for food and drinks. My feet were burning!!!
We were back out by 8:15 and found a nice pub by the Tower Bridge! We were going to go out around the city but decided to stay there for a few drinks then to the hotel for a few more.. we were too tired to go anywhere else!!
I had an amazing orange cocktail (can’t remember the name) at the hotel bar.. this was such a nice way to end a busy but amazing day with Luke!
It’s safe to say i couldn’t wait to get to bed and sleep all night! X
